Meet Allison Hopkins Ed.S., LPES, NCSP

Allison Hopkins is a Licensed Psycho-Educational Specialist. She received her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University, and completed her graduate degree at The Citadel. Allison Hopkins is the founder of Charleston Educational Services, Nationally Certified School Psychologist, South Carolina Board of Education Level 2 School Psychologist, and mother of two.
She has extensive experience working as a leader, educator, and school psychologist in the recreational setting, private practice, as well as public and charter schools in New York, Washington, D.C., and South Carolina. Allison was a Group Leader and Specialist at Camp ANCHOR on Long Island for 10 years, served Charleston families as a BCaBA providing ABA therapy, and was consistently rated as a highly effective School Psychologist in the District of Columbia Public Schools. She has been working with children and adults with special needs and diverse abilities for 20 years. She is passionate about empowering families, acting as a resource, and providing a holistic approach to give children a safe and healthy environment where they can personally develop, maximize independence, and expand upon their success.
